Panchakarma is cleansing of the body according to Ayurveda. Panchakarma is claimed to eliminate the vitiated Doshas from the body. This is a set of five procedures. They are Vamana, Virechana, Nirooha, Nasya, and Anuvasana. Nirooha, Anuvasana and Uttaravasthi form the basic types of Vasthi. The term Panchasodhana includes Vamana, Virechana, Sirovirechana, Nirooha, and Rakthamoksha. Pradhanakarma, or 'Main Action', is the stage after Purvakarma (preparatory treatment) during which the toxins are purged, and the body is healed.
Vaman
It is main treatment of Kapha Dosha.(Doshit Kaph is excreted through mouth by vomiting process). Vamana is the procedure of eliminating waste products of the body through the upper passage by vomiting.
Virechan
It is mainly treatment of Pitta Dosha and Rakta Dosha. Properly Snehan and Sweden is done before virechan. Aragvadha phant, Jalpal, Triphala kadha is useful for virechana Karma. Dhushit Dhoshas are excreted through loose motions.
Nasya
As per Ayurvedic Concept Nose is the door of head (Sushruta). Nasya is a process by which drug is administered through the nostrils. It is useful in all the diseases manifesting above the neck because it eliminates toxins through the nostril.
Basti
Medication administered by the enema to get desired therapeutic effects is known as basti (enema) therapy. It nourishes the body, pacifies the vata and allied dosha in the body.
Raktamokshan
Doshit Rakta is eliminated from body is called Raktamokshan.About 60 to 160 ml blood is eliminated at process for this leach ,syringe etc. are used. It is very skillful work. It immediately reduces the inflammation.

Shirodhara
Shirodhara is a form of ayurveda therapy that involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead. The name comes from the sanskrit words shiro (head) and dhara (flow).It's often combined with a body, scalp, or head massage. It improves concentration.
Shirobasti
Shirodhara comes from the two sanskrit words “shiro” (head) and “dhara” (flow). Bearably hot oil is retained on the clean shaved head up to around one inch above the hair root. A leather belt is tied around the head and is sealed from within with black gram paste to retain oil.
Kati basti
After a gentle ayurvedic oil therapy on the lower back, specially prepared warm herbal oil is poured over the lumbo sacral area and retained inside a dam made out of dough. The hot medicated oils helps melt lower spine rigidity and strengthen your bone tissue.
Janu Basti
The knee joint is called Janu Sandhi in sanskrit, hence the name janu basti is given to the proceduredone on knee joints. In this the knee joint is bathed with warm medicated oil or freshly prepared herbal decoction.
Uttar Basti
Uttar basti is an important Panchakarma procedure for the genito–urinary disorders of both, males and females. The therapy involves administration of a specific medicinal oil, ghrita or decoction into the urinary bladder or uterus.
Hridya Basti
Hrid basti in sanskrit refers to hridaya, the heart and Basti, the container or retainer. This is also called as Urobasti (Uro-chest and basti-retaining something inside). So hrid basti is an oil bath on the heart.
Agnikarma
Agnikarma is a unique para surgical procedure in ayurvedic practice. Specific degree of heat is given to a predetermined site of a body part with specialized instrument by an expert. The treatment aims to relieve pain instantaneously and also to prevent recurrence.
